Register
  1. Go to iFINDTXT.co.za (or http://ifindtxt.co.za) from your phone's browser.
  2. Click on the Register link.
  3. Complete all the fields and select Register to complete the registration.
  4. You will now receive a confirmation of the username and password. Please remember your username and password since you will not be able to register for a second time as the same user.
  5. Select login and enjoy all the great benefits that iFINDTXT has to offer!


Access Simplified
  1. Is the phone configured for WAP and GPRS? If yes go to Register with iFINDTXT below.
  2. Can the phone access the Internet? (You can select the from your Services to confirm) If yes go to Register.
  3. For Vodacom users:
    1. Call 111 and ask the operator for WAP and GPRS settings.
    2. Dial *111# and press . Now press , <5>, . (option 5 'MMS Settings'). To continue press , <1>, . Select your phone make and model by pressing , (1 for Nokia), to get the GPRS settings activated and sent to your phone. (Please be aware that Vodacom will charge for this).
    3. You can also enter the settings by hand. Add a new Data account to your phone and enter "internet" in the APN field. Also add a Internet profile and refer to the Data Account just created. Enter 196.41.143.33 as the WAP gateway IP address.
    4. You can logon to the Vodacom web site at www.vodacom.co.za and follow the instructions.
  4. For MTN users:
    1. Call 808 and ask to operator for WAP and GPRS settings.
    2. Dial *123*13# and press .
    3. You can also enter the settings by hand. Add a new Data account to your phone and enter "internet" in the APN field. Also add a Internet profile and refer to the Data Account just created. Enter 196.11.240.251 as the WAP gateway IP address.
    4. You can logon to the MTN web site at www.mtn.co.za and follow the instructions.
  5. CellC users, call 140 and request the WAP and GPRS settings from the operator. (Not currently supported by iFINDTXT).
