What do I need?
GPRS enabled phone, Network with GPRS or 3G, GPRS Setup on your phone, WAP Setup
on your phone, Internet Browser on your phone OR The Opera WEB browser on your PC.
What does it cost?
iFINDTXT is a free product. The only charge applicable is levied by the networks
(MTN and Vodacom). Vodacom and MTN charge up to R2 per megabyte at present. A typical
iFINDTXT message would therefore cost you between 0.4 and 0.7 SA cent. (Please note
the networks charge in units of 1 cent). You can send up to 1500 iFINDTXT messages
for R1 if you do not re-connect each time (if you stay in the browser). A reasonably
active user can expect to pay in the order of R 5.50 for 300 sessions! Each session
could consist of a number of messages send and received.
What about pre-paid?
Both Vodacom and MTN provide all the necessary Data services that will allow you
to make use of iFINDTXT.
What is the max message size?
As many as your phone allows. iFINDTXT allows for up to 4000 characters per message.
How safe are my details?
iFINDTXT will never sell or distribute your registration details to a third party.
