commercial real estate development sector among specifiers and so on, so initially

“I generally don’t advertise because I believe that my work should
be my best advertisement, but I thought it would be a good idea if people knew that
they can find my number easily and it doesn’t really cost much. Since I listed
with iFIND last year I have had some really good results, and I even landed two
contracts worth R120 000.00, so I am really impressed. I also use it to find things
I need from time to time, and the “info weather” service is great, especially

“We initially started using iFIND because there was a problem with our listing
in the telephone book – it just wasn’t there! Since we listed on iFIND we have received
many calls from people who need their cars serviced. We have advertised in a lot
of different places, but none of them bring as many customers through our doors
as iFIND does. In fact, so many people were looking for spare parts to service their
own cars; we will be expanding our business to include a spares division. Our turnover
has grown with at least R20 000.00 a month since advertising with iFIND. We took
a Premium listing because that allows our business to get preference over others
when iFIND sends the results. It’s really working well for us! We also use iFIND
regularly for ourselves, looking for a restaurant or for holiday accommodation.
Once we even used it to find someone in George to help a customer of ours who had
broken down while they were on holiday – I mean, it’s too far for us to do anything,

them in and fix their car for them. So it even helps us to help our customers better.
The best thing about iFIND is that you can use it at any time, and you don’t have
to wait for ages for someone to answer the phone if you phone a call centre. Most
people don’t carry phone books around, but everyone carries their cell phone!”

“We started our business as a guest house and conference centre, catering for
weddings and all kinds of functions, in 2004 and listed on iFIND early in 2005.
In the beginning it’s really difficult, like with any business I suppose, but since
listing on iFIND our turnover has grown with at least 10% a month. I have even managed
to attract international visitors who are using iFIND while they are in the country,
or sometimes they find us on the iFIND web site before they arrive. We arrange day
trips for them and help them to really enjoy the country before they go back to
Europe or America. I even have my GPS co-ordinates on my web site because many of

“We basically help companies to certify to ISO 9001:2000, or TS16949 if you’re
in the Automotive sector, and do training and quality management system auditing
as well, so most of our business comes in by word of mouth, which has its advantages,
but is somewhat limiting in that you keep working within the same industry segments.
When we started advertising with iFIND we weren’t expecting it to generate a huge
amount of leads, but we thought it wasn’t too expensive to give a try. Then they
had a special and we decided to give it a go. We knew that if we were going to do
it, we had do it properly, so we took a years subscription in advance and got additional
discount. We receive a lot of calls every month, especially from people wanting
assistance to do business plans – which is not really our focus, but we have associates
to who we can pass that business. Other people phone us looking for a job. We don’t
mind helping the people where we can, but again not our core business. It only took
one contract at quite a large company and we had our advertising costs covered.
The biggest advantage for us is that we make sure people we communicate with know
that they can find our details on iFIND, so even of they don’t keep the proposal
or quote, the iFIND brand is so strong they remember that they can find us there,
even if they can’t remember our company’s name. It’s happened more than once that
people have admitted that they didn’t keep our documentation, but remembered we
told them our details were on iFIND. So listing on iFIND and associating their brand
with our company name has without a doubt paid off for us."
